The new FiveWords interface is an attempt to make space for the free flow of expressions, thoughts and opinions, added by our users. Go ahead and let your expressions pour….. No worries, even if you go little overboard because we are prepared to accommodate more and more. Be it the length of your post,  or colors, schemes, images and even its presentation formats. Use video urls from YouTube, add images, use rich text and make your posts more interesting. To see the difference it could make, check out the images enclosed and click through to the respective pages.

Though we have tried to make it as user friendly and easy-to-use as we could in this release, we will like to know how we can improve it futher. And, there is no one we can learn from better than our users.

We will like to invite a limited set of our readers and users to participate in a user study. We will like to “watch” you use the application the first time you use it. We will set up an arrangement where you will log into a computer at our company and use the application. We will be able to view the screen of the computer as you use the application. We will also like to be on the phone with you so we can ask you questions. This way, we will be able to observe where you are having problems using the application and discover areas of improvement. It will take about 30 minutes of your time.

I am very excited about the launch of this application. This application is in line with our goal of creating applications that help people adopt a digital life style to manage their lives.

What this application lets you do is to manage your shopping lists online. You can create multiple shopping lists, add items to them and assign stores and categories to them. You can also mark which of the items are needed and if you have coupons for any of them. You can then filter the items by showing only the needed items, items from a particular store, items in a particular category or a combination of these criteria. You can also send your list by e-mail to any one.

This application is probably not the first shopping list application on the web but I do believe it is one of the best. This application is an example of how I like internet software to be, easy to use, unobtrusive, and continuously operating without long waits to break your thought process.

The team at Infodoro built it in such a way that you get the experience of a desktop application. You will feel that you are working on an application installed on your computer rather than in a browser on a web server. As you add items or stores or categories etc., you do not have to repeatedly press a save button and wait for the website to respond. You just keep adding the data and it is saved automatically on our servers. It feels that you were just working on an application like Notepad or Microsoft Word.

We also built it with a lot of features but in a way that you can use as little or as much of the application you want. You can start with creating one list with nothing more than the name of the items. You can then add other data such as stores and categories as you learn more. The application is user-friendly without being “expert-hostile”.

The application is still in beta and I am sure we can improve it considerably. So, please give it a spin at infodoro.com and send us your valuable feedback.

The application lets you list all the items you need to shop for, in a shopping list, categorize them, add quantities & units, descriptions and even stores (if you have the few favorite ones).

• Moreover, you have the added convenience of sorting your list by categories, stores and items.
• Further, you could also filter lists to pull up a quick list of ‘Most Needed Items’.
• It could also serve as a reminder for any unused coupons (you have) the next time you go shopping. So, you know you won’t miss on any discounts or special offers…

The Shopping List is still our baby and there is much more to come with the future releases. The team at Infodoro looks forward to candid opinions and comments from the application users, to help us improve.

The idea for this application struck on one of those days, when Deven (Owner & CEO, Infodoro) was on a holiday shopping spree with his family. The day after shopping, he seemed totally exhausted and drained out. And he realized it was the disorganized shopping activity, he had to indulge in.

Grrrr…..….I never thought shopping could be so taxing!!!

And then came along the idea to design a solution that makes shopping FUN! And now, at Infodoro we agree “Shopping could have never been More Fun……….”

We do realize that ‘Every thought you add is a seed that needs to watered & nurtured’. And we thought, probably this is how we could appreciate all the active users who keep seeding FiveWords with valuable information.

• Login at Infodoro. Register, if you still don’t have an account.
• Select ‘FiveWords’ from the application selection page.
• From the category tree on the left hand side, expand to see all topics and select the ones that interest you, to add your thoughts.
• Click on ‘Add Your Thoughts’.
• Read for the thought submission guidelines and submit your thoughts.
• E-mail us (feedback@infodoro.com) with the list of Topics you have posted on at the close of the month along with your user_id. Also, include the date and your favored mode of payment. (paypal, direct transfer)

Remember: You qualify if you have a quality and complete thought that includes a Title, a rating on the topic and reflects clarity and fluidity in the note you added.You get awarded $0.10 for every thought you add. Moreover, you can add multiple thoughts limited to one thought/topic.
